Cristina Gabor

Owner/Physical TherapistA last-year resident of Leningrad University Medical School in Russia, Cristina immigrated to the United States to pursue her dream of furthering her education. She has a multicultural background and is fluent in four languages. Cristina graduated from one of the finest physical therapy programs in the United States, Mount Saint Mary’s College, where she was selected to the Dean’s List each year.
After graduation, Gabor worked in a broad array of physical therapy settings, from inpatient/Hospital to home health. Her philosophy includes a commitment to constant learning and evolution. To that end, she continually attends seminars to update her knowledge-base and skills.
In 1997 Ms. Gabor founded Orthosport Physical Therapy – Culver City, and from the inception of the company, the focus has been to motivate employees and provide exceptional customer service. Orthosport Physical Therapy is a renowned teaching facility, training future Doctors of Physical Therapy for the finest universities in the country, guiding and helping hundreds of individuals to achieve their goals to become Physical Therapists and Doctors. Cristina is also a dog lover who enjoys nature, travel, food, and networking.
Enrique Mendoza

Physical TherapistEnrique Mendoza, PT, DPT, was born in Vista, CA. He attended Point Loma Nazarene University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science. While at Point Loma Nazarene University he played on the men’s soccer team. He then earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University in 2008. While in graduate school Enrique conducted research in a new electrode current design to improve outcomes in the treatment of chronic non-healing wounds in patients with diabetes. Enrique has attended several continuing education courses and completed a yearlong manual orthopedic course. He continues to remain active in continuing his education. In his spare time, Enrique enjoys playing soccer, running, hiking and snow boarding.
Jessica Rodriquez

Pilates InstructorJessica was born and raised in Los Angeles. She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Exercise and Health Science. Jessica joined Orthosport in 2007 as a Physical Therapy Aide. In 2012, she completed an intense certification program to become a Pilates Instructor through the Physical Mind Institute. Jessica was trained by one of LA’s top Pilates Instructors, Maria Leone. Her extensive experience working with patients, and the associated rehabilitation process, has contributed greatly to her development as one of the finest Pilates-base rehab instructor in the business. She knows precisely how to modify and tailor Pilates training to the individual needs of patients. Jessica is a professional and fun loving individual who creates an uplifting environment for challenging workouts!
Jessie Liu PTLA
Jessie Liu PTLA
Jessie Liu, PTLA was born and raised in Taiwan. She received her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Chang Gung University in Taiwan in 2019. After she graduated in Taiwan, she worked in an orthopedic clinic, hospital and acute rehab unit in Taiwan. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is willing to share all her experience in Taiwan. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys going hiking, running, watching sports games, travel and explore all kind of good food with her friends. She has passion for helping people improve their quality of life and provide compassionate care to patients.
Melissa Johnson PT, DPT

Physical TherapistMelissa Johnson, PT, DPT received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Whittier College. While attending Whittier College, she played on the Women’s Volleyball team and Women’s Basketball team. She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2014. Melissa also completed a 9-month post-graduate residency in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation in Vallejo, CA. Her experiences have allowed her to gain a deeper understanding into human movement, strength and coordination, which helps her to provide well rounded, individualized treatments to every patient. When not in the clinic, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and rollerblading, but she can also be found in the kitchen perfecting her baking skills.
